June 2025 Riverside Clean

Thank you so much to our June 2025 Riverside Clean SUPERSTARS!
A team of 12 headed out on this drizzly morning to once again support the SEA LIFE TRUST and #WorldOceansDay (which is this Sunday, the 8th June), collecting litter from the banks and areas around the River Ouse and River Foss in the King's Staith, New Walk, Millennium Bridge, Terry Avenue and Skeldergate areas of York.
And we collected 42.97kg of rubbish, which included 10.28kg of plastic, card/paper and aluminium which was segregated and sent for recycling. This takes our total rubbish collected since we started our Riverside Cleans in 2022 to over 305kg!

City Cruises, Elmbank York, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Little Vikings - The Best of York for Kids, York BID, York Drinks and York Gin, and Alex, Amy, John and Leo the Jackapoo from the York Dungeon!
It's amazing what a small band of fellow professionals can achieve in just 90 minutes, and to the above organisations, who have all taken part in multiple Riverside Cleans, we say a HUGE thank you, you are AMAZING!
