Deadly Drama Takes Centre Stage at the Our City Festival

The Jester and Smedley once again took part in the Our City Festival on Saturday the 12th of July, bringing a sprinkling of Dungeon mischief to the stage, alongside members of York's diverse communities who delivered an array of brilliant cultural performances.

And there was even a chance for younger visitors to join Jester and Smedley in a Deadly Drama workshop too! The participants were incredible, throwing themselves into performances, Jester and Smedley were super impressed!

Bianca told us that "Friends of Our City Festival is something we started this year to recognise those who go above and beyond to support this community-led celebration.

Last year, York Dungeon became the first official Friend of the Festival, and they have continued to show what true friendship and partnership looks like. From offering their time, knowledge and expertise about all things York,delivering a brilliant workshops for young people.
