BLACKOUT: 18+ After-hours Event

The Blackout Event is an intense experience featuring multi-sensory effects and prolonged periods of darkness. At points, you will also be asked to place a bag over your head and walk a short distance.

1. Anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted
2. Do not touch the actors, sets or props
3. No running, stopping or turning back
4. All items taken in are at the owners's own risk
5. Loose items must be kept secure
6. You must comply with all instructions given to you by staff
7. Bulky or hazardous items are not permitted
8. Video or photography is not permitted
9. No smoking in queue-line or attraction
10. CCTV is in use throughout
11. Guests who break the rules or engage in inappropriate behaviour (including verbally/physically abusing our characters) will be removed

This event is not suitable for people with the following conditions:

1. Heart, back or neck problems or similar conditions
2. Anyone wearing a medical cast
3. Pregnant people
4. Photosensitive epilepsy or claustrophobia
5. High blood pressure

This is an 18+ event only.

If you are lucky enough to look under 25, you will be asked to provide valid proof of age to confirm you are 18 or over. It is an offence for anyone under 18 to attempt to purchase or obtain alcohol.

The event will last for approximately 30 minutes.

Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket. Please be aware that you won't be admitted before this time. 

If you miss your timeslot, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, in peak times we may not be able to do so.

Anyone arriving after the stated attraction closing time will not be admitted and will not be eligible for a refund.

If you wish to book on the day, you can purchase tickets online through our website. A QR code will also be available at the attraction to take you directly to our booking system.

This experience sells out quickly, so we strongly recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee ticket availability or entry on the day, particularly during peak periods.

No. This event is a separate experience and does not include any of the standard London Dungeon shows.

Please note this event is different from our usual show, and there is a chance you may be lightly touched by our actors during the experience.

For the safety of our performers and to protect the integrity of the event, guests must not touch the actors, sets, or props. Failure to follow this rule may result in removal from the experience.

Yes, there will be a cloakroom available for bags and coats at an additional cost.

We do not accept suitcases or large items of hand luggage into this attraction. If you arrive with these items, you will be directed to a left luggage service. The closest are at the London Eye ticket office or Waterloo station.

Medium-sized hand luggage items, such as backpacks and handbags, are permitted but must go through a security check and will incur an additional cost. Items up to a 30-litre capacity are allowed on the tour.

No, you will receive an email ticket which will contain a bar code per ticket purchased and can be presented on a mobile for scanning on entry.

During the event, act reasonably at all times.

The London Dungeon reserves the right to refuse admission to the attraction, ban from entry to the attraction, or remove from the attraction without any right to a refund:

• Any person whose presence or behaviour may affect the enjoyment and/or safety of other guests or staff.
• Any person who uses violent, aggressive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or insulting words or behaviour or in any way behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace.
• Any person who is visibly under the influence/drunk.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event, this event is not wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair users can still enjoy our regular London Dungeon tour, which is separate to this event.
