'U' for unlimited: London Dungeon turns A Level disaster into a year of free chilling delights

A-Level students who landed “U” grades this results day to be sentenced to Dungeon detention by receiving free entry to the famous South Bank attraction for the remainder of 2025.

This A-Level results day, the London Dungeon is bringing a little gallows humour to those with less-than-distinction-worthy grades by celebrating failure and giving the first ten students who attain a dreaded U grade free entry for the rest of the year.

Whether students froze in the exam hall or misread the entire paper, the London Dungeon is here to offer some dark consolation: pupils’ academic failure could be their free ticket to the UK’s most horrible history experience.

On arrival, students will need to show proof of their U grade by simply presenting their results documentation at the admission desk for the team to verify the grade. Once confirmed, A Level dunces and their plus one will be granted unlimited access to the Dungeon's spine-chilling attractions for the remainder of 2025.

A London Dungeon spokesperson said: “In true London Dungeon fashion, we’re turning disaster into dark delight. A-Level results day can be a crushing moment – but for those landing a U, we’re sure Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd will welcome you!”

To claim free entry for the rest of 2025, eligible students must:

• Be amongst the first 10 people to present proof of their U grade received on A-Level results day - Thursday 14th August 2025
• Email southbankcluster@stripecommunications.com with evidence and request their free entry for the remainder of the year

So, if their grades gave them the chills, let the Dungeon give them the real ones.

Terms and Conditions

• The first ten individuals to present proof of receiving a U grade on A-Level results day (14th August 2025) only will be eligible for free entry to the London Dungeon for themselves and a plus one for the remainder of 2025. Entry for the rest of the year is subject to availability and the selected individuals should email at least one week prior to their requested date.

 

• Proof of U grade must be presented at the London Dungeon admission desk on arrival. Acceptable proof includes official A-Level results documentation only.

 

• Eligible individuals must also present a valid photo ID along with their proof of U grade to verify their identity.

 

• Students must email the email address provided with proof of their U grade to claim the offer

 

• Eligibility for free entry is subject to the discretion of the London Dungeon. The London Dungeon reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the proof provided.

 

• Free entry is valid from the date of verification until 31st December 2025 only and includes unlimited visits for the eligible student and their plus one.

 

• This offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.

 

• The London Dungeon reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time without prior notice.
