24th June 2014 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
For one night only, we're opening a pop-up Rat Café!
You may have heard of the Japanese fad for Cat Cafes? At London Dungeon we thought we’d take this fad one step further, opening our very own, pop-up, ‘Rat Café’ for one night only in June!
What does a Rat Café involve I hear you cry! Well, it’s simple, you can enjoy a frothy Ratuccino, luxurious Rattes with slices of Black Forest ‘rateau’ or ‘car-rat’ cake before getting up close and personal with our very own family of rats under the supervision of our Rat Keepers.
Now I know what you’re thinking – ‘isn’t eating around rats a bit unhygienic’ –NO is the answer! Our rats are tame and extremely well groomed plus we’ll keep the eating and the petting separate with compulsory hand washing and sanitising in between the two, whether you like it or not!
As the old adage goes, Londoners are never more than 6 feet away from a rat, so why not meet one on your own terms….
The Rat Café will only be available on the evening of Tuesday 24th June at 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Sessions will last approximately 1 hour and include a tea/coffee and a cake of your choice.
Spaces are very limited for this event so book soon to secure your place.
Please note: this event is separate from the daytime attraction and will not include a tour of London Dungeon or be available with the daytime tour
