Airports are often seen as the gateway to fun and adventure, yet nothing quite prepared these travellers for their visit to the Scareport earlier today.

Characters from The Edinburgh Dungeon descended upon Edinburgh Airport this morning to help staff deliver frightfully good service to their customers in the lead up to Halloween.

Injecting a bit of scary fun into the hustle and bustle of the Edinburgh commute, a cannibal, the Green Lady and a grave-robber from the Home of Hallowe’en were seen lurking around in the roles of airport staff, waiting to greet travelers from across the globe with a few more tricks than treats.

Edward Evans, general manager at The Edinburgh Dungeon, said: “Halloween is our favourite time of year and we love seeing the reaction the public has to the Dungeon experience. Edinburgh Airport is the perfect place to wreak a bit of Halloween havoc, bringing spooky surprises to visitors and locals alike.”
