Timed Ticket

FAQs

Why do I need to reserve a time with my purchase?

The reserved time guarantees entry into the attraction in a timely manner avoiding any long waiting times. By switching to a timed entry and reserving a time slot, we are giving you the flexibility to plan out your day at our 7 attractions or anywhere else within Blackpool.

Where do we enter upon arrival?

Timed entry tickets booked direct with the Dungeon can access the attraction through our Priority Entrance from within the Tower building.

What is the difference between timed and untimed tickets?

Timed tickets are tickets purchased on our website or at the attraction. The time of your entry will be located on your ticket or in your confirmation email. Please present this at our admissions area to gain access to your show time.

Untimed tickets are for any parties that miss their scheduled show time. Also, this includes any trade tickets, vouchers, Annual Passes and tickets from other cluster attractions. All these guests will be required to pre-book into a future timeslot or wait for the next available tour. As always we will endeavour for this to be as soon as possible.

Every show will have an untimed allocation – meaning there will always be space for guests without a timed ticket to join those shows. These will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis – so we would always recommend booking your party in as soon as possible.

What if we are late for our reserved time?

Unfortunately, due to the time critical nature of the attraction it is important all groups arrive 10 minutes before the end of their arrival time – in order that the show can run on time. If you do miss your show time we will endeavour to get on the next available show.

What if we are early for our reserved time?

You are more than welcome to have a drink in the Hangman’s Tavern! Calm your nerves with a pint, glass of wine or soft drink!

How will I know what shows are available?

There will be a sign out the front of the Dungeon indicating when the next available tour is. Of course feel free to ask a member of staff who will be more than happy to help you.

We are a large group without timed tickets – what should we do?

We would recommend that everyone visits the Dungeon as early as possible as timed shows will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
