Travel & Directions

We're easy to find - just follow the smell

Failing that we are between Big Ben and the The EDF Energy London Eye - within the County Hall Building and right next to the London SEA LIFE Aquarium.

The London Dungeon is right next door to The London Eye, within the County Hall Building.

Or enjoy the splendour of a massive Google Map

On Foot

Just follow signs for the South Bank; we are right next door to the EDF Energy London Eye and SEA LIFE London Aquarium. It's all you need for a day out in one place and we can even save you money with combined tickets.

Public Transport

Subway, Underground, metro, tube, no matter what you want to call it, we are only a few minutes walk from London Waterloo. If you prefer not to use the underground (you will experience the underground in the Dungeon anyway...). Waterloo is well served by buses and there even is a river service to the London Eye pier. Best check the Transport for London website.

Tube and mainline Railway

We are 4-5 minutes walk from Waterloo Tube station, which is on the Northern, Jubilee and Bakerloo Lines. Waterloo mainline station is also just 4-5 minutes walk.

Coach and Car

Sadly we don’t have a car park but we are able to accommodate coaches for drop-off and pick up (20 mins max.) Please contact the EDF London Eye Energy Customer Service line to reserve your coach bay: 0871 781 3000.

“The London Dungeon is probably the most incredible experience families, teens and adults can experience and get a good balance of fear, education and of course fun! From the first step inside, audiences are thrown into the detail of every piece of scenery and dark history the dungeon has to offer. Even though the queues can be a pain and lengthy, the dungeon makes sure it isn't a boring wait.

From the decent to the finale of drop dead I was overwhelmed with the special effects and talent of the actors. If your looking for professional acting practice for families without feeling patronised at any point... look no further. The Jack the Ripper sections showcases this brilliantly, with a mix a fear and tension. Jack the Ripper stands out!

The two thrilling rides within just add to the experience. Even if your a person who doesn't like rides, don't be put off! It's all FUN! The boat ride is in total darkness at points and the twist at the end makes it even more exciting. Drop Dead was probably one of the most unexpected ride experiences I've been on, which promises to make you scream. With the ride photo it makes it even better to experience it just to see the end result!

Sweeney Todd is terrifying. There were many points in the dungeon where I felt tense, but this took it to another level! If you don't like darknesses this will give you a scare but this section will creep anyone out!

I would recommend this to anyone I know! Even if the price of entry is high don't let it put you off from an experience you'll never forget! If you've been to the old dungeon, come again! You'll get a completely different experience! I'm very much looking forward to experiencing this again and new shows to be coming in the future!”
