The London Dungeon, today kick started a summer of Carnivale themed entertainment by surprising the public with some alternative side show games – including Henry VIII’s coconut shy and a giant “big mouth” bearing an uncanny resemblance to a well known celebrity!
Passers-by on London’s South Bank were invited to “knock the block off the traitor” at murderous monarch, Henry VIII’s, coconut stall and then hurl a ball into a traditional. There was also a huge 12ft high striker for strength testing manned by a suitably loud Victorian Barker.
