LONDON DUNGEON NOMINATED FOR TWO VISIT LONDON AWARDS!
Staff and management at the London Dungeon are very proud after discovering that the attraction has been short listed for two of the prestigious Visit London awards.
It was announced on the 24th September that the Dungeon had been short listed for the Visitor Attraction of the Year and the Best Tourism Experience awards, one of only two attractions to receive more than one nomination.
The winners will be announced in a glittering awards ceremony to be held on the 29th November at the 02 Arena in Greenwich.
They will be judged by a panel of senior industry experts, chaired by Visit London CEO James Bidwell and including journalists, London Assembly members and tourism officials.
The award nominations come after a very successful year for the Dungeon following the installation of the new Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom.
The new ride has proved immensely popular with the public - increasing customer satisfaction and boosting visitor numbers.
General Manager Colin Thomas commented:
Weve worked really hard this year in the Dungeon and made sure that our success was reflected in the quality of the entry that we submitted.
Im really proud of the attraction and of my team to be nominated for not just one, but two of the most prestigious tourism awards in the country, he added.
