Rain lashes and waves pound as the winds scythe through Hamburg. See desperate locals clinging to their rooves in panic and livestock being swept away. The storm of 1717 lasted for 3 days, laying waste to thousands of homes and killing over 20,000 people.

The Great Fire
It is 1842 and Hamburg is engulfed in a raging inferno! The Great Fire is swallowing the city with swathes of orange death, people are fleeing for their lives and thousands of firefighters are battling the flames.

Stortebeker's Execution
Stortebeker was a notorious pirate who sailed the seas in the 14th century. He and his crew of 70 comrades were caught and sentenced to death on the 20th October 1400. The story of his execution has lived on through the centuries as legend.
