Deep in the heart of Amsterdam, buried beneath the paving stones of Rokin Plaza, lies Amsterdam's most chillingly famous attraction.

The Amsterdam Dungeon brings more than half a century of gruesomely authentic history vividly back to life...and death.

Learn about the Council of Blood in the 16th century which condemned some 18,000 people to death, and the Reaper, whose chilling image is thought to have first been painted around the time of the Great Plague which decimated Europe in 1347.

Please be aware, the gruesome and frightening nature of the Amsterdam Dungeon means it is not recommended for very young children or people of a nervous disposition.
