“We went to Blackpool Tower Dungeons as part of our primary school trip, we were thrilled when the teacher booked it for us and we were not disappointed!

As soon as we stepped through the door we were greeted by Ned King (the infamous Highwayman) whose banter was wicked. The tense atmosphere grew rapidly as soon as we walked through the door. It was one of the most brilliant things we have ever done in school.

In the dungeons we were guided from room to room through eerie corridors only to be terrified by many different gruesome characters from Lancashire’s horrific past. Some of our highlights were the Plague room, the torture room and negotiating the labyrinth of mirrors all of which were full of dreadful surprises!

We would only wish that the dungeons were a bit longer however we had a fantastic time and highly recommend a visit as our day was full of laughs and thrilling surprises and we especially enjoyed the ride at the end – we had an incredible day, thankyou.
